Sudiksha Bhati was from a small village in Bulandshahar, located in UP's Dadri. Her father, Jitendra Bhati who is a tea seller by profession was proud of his daughter making it to the headlines after her excellence in study bagged her a scholarship from Boxon College, USA.She had a Rs 3.83 crore scholarship to study in the US.

After an extremely tragic incident which took place on 10th August,202, Sudiksha died after falling off from a bike in Bulandshahr after being chased by eve-teasers. She was on her way to Sikandrabad with her brother to meet her relatives. According to reports, the eve-teasers had started performing stunts near Sudiksha due to which her brother was facing difficulty in riding the bike and was getting imbalanced. While doing so the eve-teasers suddenly hit the brake after which Sudiksha and her brother could not handle the bike and fell headlong on the road. Sudiksha is reported to have died on the spot.

Following the incident, there were many media reports claiming that the victim was travelling with an uncle and was harassed by some goons on the road. However, the police have stated that in the initial statement given by the minor brother, who was driving the bike, there was no mention of any goons or any kind of harassment on the road.

"Aurangabad police station received a call about a road accident and a police team reached the spot. We came to know that a girl Sudiksha was on her way to her maternal uncle's place. The eyewitnesses said a Royal Enfield Bullet was coming from the opposite direction and suddenly stopped near their bike due to the traffic which led to the accident. After the hit, the girl fell off the bike and that led to her death. The girl's body has been sent for the postmortem. At the time of the accident, the girl's relative or any eyewitness did not speak about harassment. We are probing the case further," said Atul Shrivastava, Superintendent of Police (SP) Bulandshahr.
